Neomycin

  1. Contact allergy established.
  2. Present exposure :

    1. Known exposure – neomycin present in topical pharmaceutical product used.
    2. Possible exposure - patient used several topical pharmaceutical (incl. antibiotic) preparations he vaguely remembers but has thrown them away.
    3. Known or possible exposure to chemically related aminoglycoside.
    4. Unknown exposure to neomycine itself or to chemically related aminoglycoside.


Dermatitis, cause and localization

  1. Relationship with the known or possible exposure.
  2. Possible relationship with the known exposure.
  3. Relationship through cross-reactivity (other aminoglycosides).
  4. Unknown relationship
